Join us in the magical space of The Grand Imaginarium for a fun training session on child-led publishing in your school, library or community.
Presented by Victoria Ryle, Founder and Executive Director, Kids’ Own Publishing.
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how making books with children and families can be introduced in to the library, school, playgroup, kindergarten or council calendar in a range of ways, and how to support the strengthening of people, community, language and literacy in a new context.
The training focuses on the impact of child-led publishing on:
- The individual: How it strengthens sense of self-identity and resilience;
- Groups working collaboratively: How to gather the collective voice of a group to tell powerful stories.
The workshop will share practical approaches to children’s community publishing concepts, making books with children and families, and using the new digital publishing App developed by Kids’ Own Publishing – WePublish.
